IFADC Revolving Loan Fund (RLF)

The Revolving Loan Fund is a local funding source to provide low-interest loans to assist with local economic and business development projects. These monies are generally for gap financing, working with a local bank to cover unmet need in the financing package. This fund is administered by the IFADC Revolving Loan Fund Committee, consisting of local business people dedicated to the growth of businesses in the Iowa Falls Area.

Iowa Economic Development Growth Programs

High Quality Jobs - Assistance to offset costs incurred to locate, expand or modernize an Iowa facility. 

New Jobs Tax Credit - Tax credit incentive for businesses that provide additional training to employees and expand their workforce.

Targeted Jobs Withholding - Pilot program that allows diversion of withholding funds paid by an employer to be matched by a designated pilot city.

Innovation Grants and Funding - Programs and tax credits to help grow your business, accelerate production and conduct research. 

Butchery Innovation and Revitalization - Grants for projects relating to small-scale meat processors, licensed custom meat lockers and mobile slaughter units. 

Insure Your Future Early-Stage Internship Program - Opportunity targeted at college freshman and sophomores to gain experience in Iowa's Insurance industry.

Iowa Workforce Training Programs

Industrial New Jobs Training Program - 260E - Create new jobs with employee training.

Iowa Jobs Training Program - 260F - Providing job training to current employees.

Community College Consortium - 260 - Funding assistance for training projects in which two or more businesses participate.

Accelerated Ccareer Education Program - 260G - Partnering with community colleges to train workforce.

Iowa Apprenticeships & Internships

Registered Apprenticeship Program - There are more than 1,000 occupations eligible for apprenticeship training grants. Iowa Workforce Development administers all apprenticeship programs. 

Student Internship Program - Grants to small and medium-sized companies in targeted industries to support internship programs. 

STEM Internship Program - Grants to Iowa companies for internship programs in STEM fields. 

Iowa Investment and Retirement Incentive Programs

Angel Investor Tax Credit - Encouraging venture capital investment in Iowa Startups.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - Assistance in creating ESOP feasibility study.
